The estate

Haut Beyzac is the story of a family business passing to its 2nd generation and crossing the Gironde. Lise and Philippe Raguenot founded Vignobles Raguenot in 1967. In 1997 their 2 daughters, Emmanuelle and Marie-Pierre, and their husbands, Daren Miller and Eric Lallez, took over the vineyard of Château des Tourtes in Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, and in 1998 the 4 of them bought Château Haut Beyzac in the Haut-Médoc. Emmanuelle Miller, Eric Lallez and Marie-Pierre Lallez own it today.

The estate lies at Vertheuil, 35 hectares of clay and limestone planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, the variety the family favors on this ground, with Merlot and Petit Verdot. It makes 3 cuvées, each with its own winemaking, aging and blending: Château Haut Beyzac, a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon; 0016; and Haut Beyzac Classic. The wine spends 12 months in French oak barrels, and the estate makes 120,000 bottles. It was a Cru Bourgeois in the classifications of 2020 and 2025.
