The estate
Pauillac is known to the world through its classed growths, and Plantey belongs to the other Pauillac. It was a Cru Bourgeois in the classification of 2020 and is one again in that of 2025, where it is the only name from the appellation. The 27 hectares lie on Garonne gravel off the Route du Plantey, planted 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and farmed by reasoned methods under the AREA certification. The property also sells wine under a second name, Château Artigues.
