The estate
Haut-Gravat has passed from father to son in the Lanneau family at Jau-Dignac-et-Loirac, and the estate was re-formed in 1960. From 1983 the present owners set about improving the wine, enlarging the vineyard and building: a larger vat room, a barrel cellar, a bottle store, a tasting room and a tower. The Cru Artisan spends 12 months in oak barrels and the Cuvée Prestige 18; the estate also sells magnums. Haut-Gravat is a Cru Artisan du Médoc in the classification for the vintages 2022 to 2026.
