Bordeaux Begins Its Earliest Harvest on Record

Bordeaux began its 2026 harvest on Aug. 6 with the first grapes for Crémant de Bordeaux, nearly 15 days earlier than in 2025. Wine officials say it is the earliest harvest on record, with dry weather pointing to a smaller vintage.
