Mouton Cadet has launched its limited-edition Cuvée Vigneron collection, featuring Angélique Ossard of Saint-Vivien-de-Monségur. The first wine is an organic red made from 100% merlot from her 29-hectare property.

Bordeaux mourns Jean-Paul Jauffret

Jean-Paul Jauffret, born in 1930, has died after holding leadership roles at the CIVB, Dourthe, Bordeaux city hall, Vinexpo and La Cité du Vin. He was behind Vinexpo’s first edition in 1981 and relaunched the Fête du Vin in 1988.

Applications have opened for Bordeaux Wine Month in September, a UK retail campaign promoting wines from Bordeaux. Independent wine merchants can receive £250 in support to take part.

Liv-ex: Not all is lost after ‘tepid’ En Primeur campaign

Liv-ex said the Bordeaux En Primeur 2025 campaign produced tepid sales in the UK trade, with release prices viewed as too high, although selective demand emerged for Cheval Blanc, Margaux, Lafite and Batailley.
