Bordeaux vineyard uses hyperspectral satellites for early detection of vineyard stress

On March 24, 2026, Bordeaux’s Château Puybarbe began operational monitoring of its vineyards with hyperspectral satellites in partnership with Kuva Space. The technology is intended to detect vine stress caused by fungi, insects, moisture changes or nutrient imbalances before it is visible to the human eye.
