Château d’Yquem, Sauternes 2021 The last time I was at Château d’Yquem was on the day of my 40th birthday; however, no matter how many times I come back, it always feels special. Today’s visit for a private tasting of the 2021 vintage was no different. The perfect balance of bitterness, sugar, and acidity in their wines never fails to impress. Château d’Yquem is probably the most consistent wine in Bordeaux, with centuries of top performance.
