Château Léoville Barton 2004, Saint-Julien

A true family classic: Léoville Barton has been in the Barton family since 1826. The label shows neighboring Langoa-Barton because Léoville Barton has no château building of its own. Wines are made at Langoa.

2004 is a cool, “claret” style Left Bank year. This vintage is all about balance, with cassis, cedar, and fine, persistent tannins.
