Chateau D’Yquem is a wine of such beauty and elegance that it shows greatness at every age. Ten years in, the 2014 vintage is showing an excellent balance between sweet palate and lively acidity. The vanilla and spice notes from oak aging are well-integrated with the wine. It is delicious to drink now, offering exuberant flavors of dried pineapple and apricots, along with notes of ginger and rye from botrytis. Very persistent and rich, it will age extremely well.A blend of 75% Semillon and 25% Sauvignon Blanc. Fantastic.
