Château Cantemerle 2019, Haut Médoc

Cantemerle 2019 comes from the same estate, the same soils, the same vintage, yet the result is fundamentally different. The selection is tighter, the Cabernet Sauvignon more assertive, and the overall structure more deliberate.

Cantemerle sits at the southern edge of the Haut Médoc, close to Margaux, and that geography shows in wines like this. There is lift here, and a certain aromatic precision, but also a graphite line that anchors it firmly on the Left Bank.
