The estate
Roc de Cambes lies at Bourg, in an amphitheater of hillsides on clay and limestone, and keeps a fine cellar of the 14th century. Mr and Mrs Mitjavile bought it in 1988, and it belongs to the same family as Château Tertre Rotebœuf in Saint-Émilion; Nina Mitjavile ran the vineyards and the winemaking of both from 2005 to 2020. The 12 hectares are planted 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec, under permanent grass, with integrated pest control.
