Domaine de Chevalier Blanc 2017, Pessac Léognan

Domaine de Chevalier Blanc has long been one of the reference points for dry white Bordeaux, produced in remarkably small quantities relative to the estate’s global reputation. The vineyards are planted on deep gravel soils within a forest clearing in Léognan, a setting that contributes to the wine’s distinctive balance between richness and tension.

The 2017 vintage is often remembered for the severe frost episodes across Bordeaux, yet many top estates in Pessac Léognan were able to produce whites of excellent precision and aromatic clarity. Sauvignon Blanc drives the freshness and structure, while Sémillon adds texture and depth.
