Château Pichon Baron 2018

Two griffins guard one of Pauillac’s greatest treasures: Château Pichon Baron. The label recalls centuries of heritage, while the estate itself has undergone a renaissance over the last two decades, reclaiming its place among the Médoc’s elite. Its neo-classical château, mirrored in the reflecting pool, remains one of Bordeaux’s most photographed landmarks.

The 2018 vintage blends 78% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Merlot. It was a year of concentration, small berries, and generous ripeness, a vintage where Pichon showed its full modern strength.

In the glass, it’s powerful and bold, yet vibrant. Vanilla toast and smoke frame juicy layers of red and black fruit. The palate is broad and opulent, but there’s precision too.
