Château Cos d’Estournel 2020, Saint-Estèphe

If 2010 is about authority (read our last post), 2020 is about clarity. This vintage shows a more transparent side of Cos d’Estournel, where definition and freshness take the lead without sacrificing depth.

The wine feels vertical and energetic, with a sense of lift that makes you pay attention early on. It is polished, but not glossy. Confident, but not loud. A modern Cos that still feels deeply anchored in Saint-Estèphe.
