Who else loves older Bordeaux?

Chateau Beychevelle 1999 is a mature wine, showing aromas of blackcurrant, with cedar, damp earth and tobacco notes, as well as softer tannins, which is expected from a 25-year-old wine.

It reflects the cooler vintage with its fresh acidity and restrained fruit (St Julien did better in this vintage), but this bottle is an excellent example of well-aged Bordeaux.
