Carruades de Lafite 2021 Fresh and youthful, this second wine is tannic and powerful, with high acidity and a long finish. With red berries, raspberry, and savory mouthfeel, it’s approachable now but shows its pedigree.

Château Lafite Rothschild 2020 A “baby Lafite” in its youth, with 92% Cabernet Sauvignon leading its powerful yet elegant profile. Notes of blueberry, cassis, black cherries, and floral tones layered with vanilla and cedar. Welcoming tannins and a very long finish, this one has a long life ahead!

Château Lafite Rothschild 2014 An elegant vintage with 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, offering aromas of intense black fruits, florals, and graphite. The palate is smooth, perfumed, and easy to drink, with mid-level acidity. A classic and approachable Lafite.

Château Lafite Rothschild 2009 An opulent vintage with minty, eucalyptus, and tertiary notes complemented by black fruits, cherry jam, and violets. Elegant with present tannins, tied with the 1988 as my “Wine of the Night.” 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot
