La Chapelle de Meyney 2018, Saint-Estèphe

La Chapelle de Meyney is the second wine of Château Meyney, an estate founded in 1662 on gravel and clay slopes next to Château Montrose. Some blue clay under part of the vineyard helps give structure and depth.

2018 was a ripe, powerful year on the Left Bank, and Meyney’s style brings dark fruit with firm, fresh lines that age well.
