Duhart Milon Blanc 2021, Bordeaux Blanc

Duhart Milon Blanc is a relatively recent addition to the portfolio of Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite, extending the Pauillac estate into dry white Bordeaux. Because Pauillac does not permit white wine under its AOC rules, the wine is released as Bordeaux Blanc, despite its close connection to the Duhart Milon identity.

The 2021 vintage favored freshness and precision over weight, a profile particularly well suited to white Bordeaux. Sauvignon Blanc drives the tension and aromatic lift, while Sémillon contributes texture and depth, resulting in a style built more on balance than exuberance.
