Pavie is one of Saint-Émilion’s largest and most famous estates, with a south-facing slope that has been planted to vines since Roman times. In 2012, it was promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classé A, joining the very top tier of Saint-Émilion.

The 2008 vintage was cooler and less heralded than its neighbors, but Pavie’s terroir delivered depth and ripeness. Today, Pavie 2008 offers the hallmark richness of the estate, balanced by freshness from the vintage. We tasted this wine at the château.
