Château Grand-Puy Ducasse, Pauillac 2014

Great value for this classified 5th growth from Pauillac made of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon and 38% Merlot. Ripe plums, present tertiary notes on the nose and in the palate. At 10 years of age, it is already showing maturity, although the tannins are still a bit harsh. Nice concentration and acidity. Medium-high alcohol, medium finish. Not going to improve, so better if drunk within the next 2 years. Tasted in March 2024 by Château Grand-Puy Ducasse
