This is one of the most unusual expressions tied to a First Growth, a Liqueur de Cassis produced under the Mouton Rothschild name in extremely limited quantities. Unlike the grand vin, this bottle speaks less to terroir in the classical Bordeaux sense and more to heritage and brand extension, where precision and selection still define the final result. Bottled here as number 698 of just 708, it sits closer to a collector’s artifact than a conventional release.
