Capitals mark the stressed syllable. The recording is the reference.

Alain Moses, a former Bordeaux broker, founded Twins in 1994, and his twin sons now run a house that owns no vineyard and sells the wines of about 500 estates in 70 markets.

The house

Alain Moses had worked as a Bordeaux wine broker before he founded Twins in 1994. His son Sébastien joined him in 2000, the first of the twin brothers to come into the business, and Anthony followed in 2009, after working in the marketing of fine Bordeaux.

The house went abroad with offices of its own: New York in 2010, its first outside Bordeaux, and Hong Kong in 2013. In 2016 Sébastien Moses became chairman of the management board and his father chairman of the supervisory board. Twins took a stake in 2019 in Maison Garros, a French merchant that supplies weddings, receptions and business events, and in 2025 a majority stake in Domaines Meneret-Audy, a merchant for the French market. Anthony Moses became managing director in October 2025.

The house marked its 30th year in 2024 with about 40 people, one quarter of them in the United States and Asia. Abroad, its team members in the United States, China, Hong Kong and Japan organize and host local events. It owns no vineyard and works with about 500 partner estates. In January 2026, after nearly 3 years of work, it opened a cellar of 6,600 square meters for its stock: about 6,000 wines and nearly 2,000,000 bottles.
