The house

Producta Vignobles was born in 1949 as a grouping of producers, made up of cooperative cellars, to sell their wine together. It went into the supermarkets early: appellation wines in the big stores from 1960, wines under the stores’ own labels from 1980. ISO 9001 certification followed in 1990, and in 2010 its cooperative cellars took up Agri Confiance, a standard for responsible and sustainable farming.

The present company was formed in 1991 at Lormont, across the Garonne from Bordeaux, and also trades as Les Caves d’Arnozan. Its board is made up of the cooperative groups behind it: Terre de Vignerons, of which it is a subsidiary, Unidor, the Vignerons d’Uni-Médoc and the Vignerons de Puisseguin Lussac Saint-Émilion. Producta marked its 70th year in 2019. In January 2020 Camille Dujardin, formerly export sales director of the Castel Frères group, became managing director, with Jean-François Bruère as chairman. Denis Baro is its chairman now.

The house has kept trying new things. For China, in January 2009, it filed the Arnozan name in Chinese characters, Arnozan (龙船庄园), the Dragon Boat Estate. In 2011 came a lighter engraved bottle, fully recyclable, and from 2015 Product’Art, a series of limited editions with artists. After work begun in 2023, La Vie en Zero, a range of wines with the alcohol taken out, followed in 2024. In 2025 it sold about 18 million bottles a year, from the 4 corners of Bordeaux and from Bergerac and Duras, for more than 2,500 growers.
