BéBa
How to read this
Capitals mark the stressed syllable. The recording is the reference.
A Bordeaux négociant (a merchant who buys from the châteaux and sells on) named for a couple: Basile Tesseron, who took over La Vintage Company in 2024, and his wife, Bérangère, who runs Château Larrivaux.
The house
The house opened on February 1, 2009 as La Vintage Company, a négociant on the Bordeaux market, first led by Didier Miqueu. Basile Tesseron took it over through a company of his own on March 20, 2024, and the purchase brought a subsidiary with it, Domaines Select.
Since 2022 he has worked beside his wife, Bérangère, at Château Larrivaux, the Cissac estate she has run since 2005. The house took the name BéBa in 2025, from their 2 first names, and in March of that year it left Bordeaux for Le Bouscat, on the northern edge of the city.
In the summer of 2025 a 3rd Bordeaux négociant, Signature Sélections, joined BéBa and Domaines Select under Basile Tesseron. Jérôme Ducasse is managing director of BéBa and Domaines Select. The 3 houses work as 1 group, with a team of 14 and selective distribution in 38 countries. About 90% of the wine they sell comes from Bordeaux.
