Great tastings like this remind me that Bordeaux truly rewards those who wait. I’ve been debating which wine was THE wine of the night. While I make up my mind, I’d say it was a three-way tie among Château Ducru-Beaucaillou 2008, Château Gazin 1989, and Clos d’Oratoire 2000. They were so good that the most common reaction was a resounding “wow” from almost everyone in the room.
