Château Margaux 2014

Château Margaux is always a special treat, no matter the vintage, and the 2014 is no exception. It opens with red and black fruit, graphite, a subtle floral note, boxwood, cassis, and well-integrated oak. The tannins are fine and silky, which makes the wine very elegant. A great experience from start to finish.

2014 is often overshadowed by more talked-about vintages, but a First Growth like Margaux proves that Bordeaux wines have a lot of aging potential. Still youthful at 11 years, this bottle offers excellent cellar value.

90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot.
